The leaves develop a deep tone of purple red as they grow in the spring and retain the deep color all season. For a dissectum, Inaba Shidare is a rather upright form. Although it does cascade, it tends to grow more upright than other dissectums. Will reach 8 feet in 12 years. Sun part shade.
